Our first location in Greece Nafplio is a two hour bus ride from Athens. It has a fortress on the town hill called the Fortress of Palamadi built between 1711 and 1715. We walked the streets of the city by the entrance to Fortress Palamidi, located almost 1,000 steps above the city, to find Arvanita Beach. The rocky beach provided the most beautiful and relaxing afternoon where we spent time swimming in the sea and sunning ourselves dry.
We wandered back to the ship and departed Nauplia for our final destination.

A sad beginning to accom in Greece. Let's hope it's all up from here. The sheets don't fit the bed-too small and that's the story for this room too small and no view. But it was clean. And welcome to Greece hotels no tea n coffee facility. That means no tea!
