... Pinxos restaurant she, Ev, and Jullie had loved 3 weeks earlier. It was truly amazing and we enjoyed talking with a lovely british couple who now run a B&B in Provence. Judy and the kids had a wet but fun time, as the weather had finally turned south.

                       

I don't really need to tell you what we did do I? Take one part playground, one part beach, and one part sunset and you have a Kramer day in Biarritz.

San Sebastian is a wicked old town, literally full of tapas restaurants, bars and little shops. Our hostel was right in the middle of it all, it was ridiculously loud at night, but nothing wine and ear plugs can't handle. They have all these tapas laid out on the bars and you pick the ones that look good.... sometimes ...

My first three times in San Sebastian, the weather was never that great for the beach, or I simply never had the chance to go. Today, the weather was gorgeous – sunny, but not too hot; in fact, a few more degrees would have been a nice thing. A few hours was enough, and it was back to the hostel for a shower.

... of the crowd that got booted. It was so devastating. My buddies had train tickets for that evening and had spent 3 days in Pamps just to run. We spent the rest of the day doing all we could to get their tickets switched for the next day. Again, luck was with us and things worked out.
