We saw the old town with its traditional architecture, wood-burning heating units, and neat vegetable gardens, as well as the new town with solar panels and modern design. Persons coming to stay in Murren for ...

... on (with many others, so no room left) and told us that the first bus from the Chalet had already left with Jon and the boys on board. Then it was off up the valley and to Stechelberg were we just missed the gondola so we waited for ten minutes until it returned. Then off up the mountain to Gimmelwald where we changed gondolas and went off up to Murren. At Murren we again changed gondolas and headed off to Birg where Jon was waiting.
