... didn't matter - impressed us.
Monday night - we went for the quenella - this time it was the Opera, and the State group were putting on 'Carmen' at the National Theatre. Wow!. What a night. This was a night for first grade - the heavyweights - and, as Piers Ackerman always says, 'I might not know much about Opera but I now what I like' - this was thrilling (Roller Door song never sounded so good).

... king wanted to know what the queen was confessing to. The priest told him he couldn't tell him but would tell one soul. He told an old dog. The King was that annoyed he tortured and killed the priest and threw him off the bridge. People rub his foot for luck. We couldn't find him.

We then retraced our steps and caught the metro back to the hostel. It amazes me that the transport systems here are so easy to work out and on time. Australia could learn something for Europe.
