... random bus that appeared to be going in the right direction. It wasn't. Haha! Anyway, I made it to a metro stop eventually and all was well from there :) After heading back to the apartment to get ready for a night out I grabbed some dinner then headed to the grand Paleu de la Musica Catalonia. ... back through Las Ramblas. We hailed a taxi when we got out on the main road because, shocker - we were lost again. Our taxi driver was the rudest man ever and he was mad I guess that we were only driving a few minutes away. When we gave him his money he threw it aggressively on the floor of the passenger seat. Needless to say, we were very confused, tired, and frustrated at that point and were very ready for our daily siesta.

... although we had our reservations about how it felt as a space, it has great beauty. We realise how many mundane structures there are in our world, this is not one. Gaudi drew from nature, symbols, mathematics (spirals, leaf shapes etc) and there is an integrity about the whole structure. The light comes through modern strained glass in primary colours. Rather than me rabbit on, suffice to say, it was moving and inspiring.
