... There is less ornamentation on the interior surfaces, clean lines rising up like tree trunks to the amazingly high ceiling. The stained glass is brighter, obviously newer, but also using lighter colours - yellows, orange, lime - colours that may not have been possible centuries ago. As we were going to start with the blue route today before going back to some of the places from yesterday we decided to walk to the first couple of places which were the Gaudi Casa Batilo and La Pedrera . We also marvelled at the architecture of the other buildings along the street.
