Also, there was a thick cloud cover which meant for the first day in many we were actually cool. As we were sittlng having a sandwich I had to put on a long sleeve wind shirt, the first time in almost a week. We have been looking at ...

We left Ponte de Lima this morning and walked through what was without a doubt the most beautiful country we have seen on this Camino. It feels more 'at home' to be on a more popular section of the Way, like we aren't the only crazy people out here doing this. We stepped into a cafe this morning for a coffee (no big surprise) and there were photos of all these American jazz performers...Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans, so I said in my pitiful ...

... passed we were greeted with lots of "Bom Caminho" which always encourages us and makes us feel energized. Then approaching us on the road we noticed lots of people dressed alike carrying instruments and realized we were passing a marching band. Minutes later we heard them playing and wished we had followed them to their destination. We have only 10 more days of walking and realize we will be in Santiago before we know it. We are committed to the idea of enjoying each day along the ...
