    ... and drank a lot a lot. We went to Plaza de Catalunya to get a shuttle bus to the club, drank a lot of vodka (mainly me) on the bus and met some Italian girls.     Coimbra- a lovely old Portugese city which is kept alive by the university established in 1290 up on top of the hill. Home to beautiful old buildings, architecture, gardens and views- you know how it goes in Europe. The rest of the city was quite funky too with new parks and restaurants along the river but you could tell the GFC hadn't been kind to the ol' girl.
