... picked out a nice bench in the sun and had our picnic lunch of a sandwich and a banana.

Instead of heading to a different attraction we decided to keep on exploring. This place really was awesome. It was like a giant playground for us. It was charming. We told them we had spent time in the North. This chilled the air a bit...there is a bitter rivalry between Porto and Lisbon.

"Why would you spend so much time up there? Next time stay in Lisbon. It is better here."

We told them we would be back for another trip, finished our chocolate mousse, and walked away enjoying the night life of Lisbon.

... a reminder of what Mother Nature can do. We walked up to the top for a great view of the city, and saw a movie / TV show being filmed. Walked back down the hill and caught a trolley and rode it awhile, ending up at the top of the other hill where the castle is. Turns out the castle is a lot more impressive from below - up top it's just a park with some ruins.

... it's a bit sad if a nice Cornetto is a highlight of our day, but they are just fantastic. The strawberry ones have REAL strawberries in them.

So our time in Estoril is now at an end. We would happily saty here for another week or two, Jean has already threatened to just stay, but the Old Dart calls out to us and so we must travel on.
