Tuesday:

We've been taking it easy and have been chilling out so far. We've been into Lagos to shop and to have a look around the Old Town which has an amazing history influenced by Phoenicians; Greeks; Carthaginians; Romans and Arabians as well as Christians..

We made it to the Autovia and blasted to Silves, our final planned stop on our Portuguese castle tour. The sun was blarrinf in the Algarve at a nice 22C; blustery by local standards. ... we went with and we got 5 drink tickets (each worth 1€ - meaning we could get a beer and one mixed drink). I did not redeem my tickets, because I was still feeling a little queasy from the Sangria, but we all danced and had a fantastic time. We got back to the hotel late, around 3:00am.
