Upon arriving at Heathrow we said our goodbyes as Tania went to join her big brother and little nieces and headed to Reading, while Steve also went to meet his big brother and little nieces, somewhere in France. A bus on the forever-delayed M25, a train to the south coast and onto a ferry, Steve went to the bar, got a beer and at 23:45 UK time wished himself a Happy Birthday. Off the aircraft, around the corner, up the escalators, down the hall, through security, more escalators, more halls, through the shopping area and into the South Lounge, I am home here for the next seven hours. The Club Lounge (South) at Heathrow is gigantic. And, today, like all other times that I have been here, it is full. ... I intend to make full use of later, a very comfy looking bed and a desk at which I am currently sitting.

I think I will stay here for the evening and probably eat in the restaurant, which looks quite nice. I am going to have a final repack of my bag and throw out any toiletry dregs, plastic bags etc. (Excitement!! Woo hoo!!)
