... discovered. First stop, the quaint lil town of Annapolis. Its tiny. It could fit in the palm of my hand. After settling ourselves into the largest room in the B&B, we skipped down the 2 flights of stairs to our personal cafeteria, the diner known as Chick and Ruth's, featured on the Food Network for their outrageous sized portions. Beware ...
Annapolis, Maryland, United States oracle26... at the office in Atlanta, was able to get me two passes (the very day we left town) to enter the secure area around the building so we could view the parade from the 6th floor in the warmth of their office. Unfortunately, that would not happen. With the strategic crowd control in place and the multitude of street closings, there was no way we could make it to the office building in time to see the parade. So, instead, we opted to walk ...
Washington DC, District of Columbia, United States globetrottersFor today, I decided I wanted to golf in the District of Columbia. There are 3 public courses within DC; Rock Creek, Langston and East Potomac. The course du jour is East Potomac. This course had not hosted any major golf event, was not designed by a well known designer and is not acclaimed in any golf magazine/book. What the course does have going for it is its location within East Potomac Park, which contains the Jefferson Monument ...

New York, New York, United States deans_diary... Grameen Bank has helped lift millions of people out of poverty and help them help themselves to make a better life. I learned about microcredit this past spring in one of my classes, and it was so great to see that this economic miracle that so often goes under the radar is actually being recognized as a pathway to peace. If you are interested, the CNN interview is being replayed several times on their network, so in addition to learning about microcredit, you might catch a glimpse of ...
Washington, DC, United States olsencv... Creek), Demi and Ashton, Sharon Stone (very beautiful), Christian Slater (terrible hair) and William H Macy. So, back to the New York tales... We arrived here last Monday night. We've been staying with Davids sisters future husband (I've been putting in good words for you Louise) Mike. He lives in Brooklyn, just by the Brooklyn bridge. Walking down the street in Brooklyn, we are usually the only white people. We saw the best t-shirt ever one night - "I love black men ...
New York, New York, United States ailsa_and_david... happen soon so it was up to the electric pumps and my finding where all this water was coming from. I tore the front area apart where the water intake to flush the toilet is. No, it was okay but there was lots of water in the compartment. I moved our main pump up forward and it was able to stay ahead of whatever was wrong. There were lots of shoals in this area so, leaving the pump, I went back to the helm while we both navigated and worked the manual pump. Now to enter ...
