... through the Gallery but didn't find works that really appealed to us. Back to the hotel through Hyde Park to retrieve our suitcases and off to the hotel near the airport. We had a so-so dinner at MacDonald’s, the only place around for something to eat; definitely not our favourite restaurant! Early to bed , the alarm clock rings at 6h in the morning!

After spending all my money, well most of it anyway, I walked from the Rocks on the west side of Circular Quay to the Royal Botanical Gardens on the east side of the Quay. So after my cold but wonderful night and day in the Blue Mountains I made my way back to Sydney for one last evening. I started my day at the little cafe where I had my tea and cake the previous night in Katoomba as the staff were so lovely!
