... it was pretty misty and foggy for much of the trip.

There was quite a lot of surface flooding visible, and there have been about 14 deaths due to the heavy rain we have had - I had no idea it had been that bad, but some homes have been destroyed and some damaged.

... school children in matching jogging suits perform some marching drills and exercises. They were all very disciplined and followed instructions quite well. If only my marching band followed instructions so well (I should have done some recruiting). We walked through the center, stopping at the various statues until we decided to enter one of the shops.

... left him in there while they were getting the extra nurse just so we did not have to hand him over again for a second go-around (apparently not).

Fortunately our handy supply of digestive biscuits seemed to calm him down. He felt 3 for each cookie was appropriate.
