... found out that the Delos ferry had already left for the day, I turned around, walked a few steps, and immediately came face-to-face with a GIANT pink pelican! The beach towns are totally deserted. All the hotels and cafés are shut up and no-one is around.

At one road junction we came across a Greek man selling fruit from the back of his truck. He came over to the car and was keen to chat with us telling us his wife was from Sydney. He then insisted we go and look at his fruit. He told us he came from six generations of farmers on Naxos.

... gallons that my body has, we found ourselves a beautiful beach called Panormos and soaked up some rays. It was glorious. A great way to sleep off the rest of my jet lag! We then went swimming in the gorgeous Aegean Sea that has the clearest water I have ever seen! The pictures still don't do it justice, so feel free to fantasize away!

It is wonderful that Paul now enjoys swimming and lying around on the beach. This means now I get to spend time at the beach which I love. Good husband. Lol
