... found out that the Delos ferry had already left for the day, I turned around, walked a few steps, and immediately came face-to-face with a GIANT pink pelican! It was sitting on the ground, not moving, and I stared at it a while trying to figure out whether or not it was real. I kept walking closer until finally I saw its eyes move, but I could not believe how enormous this thing was. I've posted my picture of it to the blog, but apparently the pelicans on ...

The beach towns are totally deserted. All the hotels and cafés are shut up and no-one is around.
There are so many big apartments that have been started and just left unfinished due to the economic crisis. The beaches are lovely, but it wasn't a swimming afternoon. We had a game of Bolle with these completely round balls we found on the beach made out of some natural ...

... gallons that my body has, we found ourselves a beautiful beach called Panormos and soaked up some rays. It was glorious. A great way to sleep off the rest of my jet lag! We then went swimming in the gorgeous Aegean Sea that has the clearest water I have ever seen! The pictures still don't do it justice, so feel free to fantasize away!

P.S. I totally plan on moving here. Goodbye forever! (My will entrusts everything to ...

... squid stuffed with rice and vegetables while I had a whole grilled fish which I must admit a little scary to eat as it tasted strange. I didn't get sick so obviously it wasn't off. My delicious, hearty 2:50€ Greek Gyros on Paradise Beach was a million times better.

It is wonderful that Paul now enjoys swimming and lying around on the beach. This means now I get to spend time at the beach which I love. Good husband. Lol
