... big. He ate it all. More on principle than enjoyment. But he did say the first 20 minutes of eating it was tasty, then it just got uncomfortable. ... sun graced us with its presence but so did the wind! Mykonos might actually mean 'windy island' according to locals - which I could understand given the abundance of old windmills to take photos of. The cool of the wind may have decreased the sizzle feeling on our skins as we returned to our hotel pool with some unexpected sunburn.

... most helpful host in all our travels. Kamari was a great place to stay, a nice quiet village with plenty of shops and restaurants on the waterfront. Our studio was down the quiet end right on the beachfront. We had our own private sunchairs and umbrellas. Perfect.

Our first night we met up for dinner with friends from sail Croatia Matt and Paula. It was a really nice meal with great company on the beach front. The Greek food continues to impress ...

... now calling our Australian hiking boots (our thongs). At the top of the volcano you could see the hole where the last eruption had occurred and even steam was coming off the still hot rocks. We swam in some hot springs. We had to jump off our boat into the ocean and swim towards the shore where the hot springs were. We covered ourselves in warm, slimy volcanic mud!
