    Laugharne's Brown Dylan perspective
It might have been the same as yesterday - gorgeous blue sunlit skies and flat calm seas - but it wasn't. The stormy, rain-heavy southerly winds hit the estuary from an early hour and persisted throughout the day. It rained, the wind howled and the clouds lay over the town like a choking, wet blanket. Recreational sorties were ill-advised. Steph nipped out (a racist ...

... Words fail me here to describe the action-packed fun. H and S explored depressing Swansea, though bags of shopping provided an alternative view. ... with reality - same sort of long, flat, sandy (no pebbles!), but not the same as a previous encounter with a long beach on the Gower. The weather was promising, if a little cold; sunny nonetheless as we beat a hasty retreat to the Point Café and a welcome hot beverage. A stroll on the wonderful beach as the tide came in looked appealing. The dog-free zone was populated with ....... several dogs of varying pedigree, all enjoying ...

    Thomas or Bob?

    Dylan - Thomas or Bob?
A lateish start under a sunny sky and the promise of decent weather until late afternoon. This is Dylan Thomas country, famous for the Boathouse and the Garage/aka Writing Shed where he lived and wrote under patronage. We ventured forth resolutely - Dylanesque, eh? - and walked down into Laugharne and bought a paper and batteries (reality!), wandered the empty ...
