... up being such a great experience; though I began this trip very uneasy about the lack of structure and support in teaching, it ended up being for the best, because Ashley and I were able to plan classes the way we wanted to instead of having to follow strict rules and curricula. I had an awesome last day, and I'm so glad I made the decision to go.

After Base5, we all headed back to the residencia real quick to grab some warm clothes and a few blankets; our final excursion ...

... Marc and Sergio didn't show up for class today, so Ashley and I got to leave the hospital early. We went to SuperDino to get some snacks and then ran back to the residencia. I don't know why I've been so tired today, but I had two coffees before seminar and I still almost fell asleep. ... As I said, the sun was out and the sky was super blue, so the water was this pleasant blue/turquoise color, and the waves were so big some of them went over my head. There were these giant rocks to walk and climb on off to the side of the beach, and we found all kinds of crabs and little sea animals hanging out on them in the sun. We also swam out to this huge rock structure about 100 meters away from the shore. It was cool to sit out in the sun on the rocks, and while ...

... disconcerted throughout the entire consult, but I never saw a woman look more worried than when she heard Paco say, "This is an English woman with dementia." Her face contorted, she made a little noise, and Paco asked her if she was okay. After a quick pause, and a glance at me and the other residents in the room, she said very proudly and in an offended tone, "I'm Scottish!" I laughed for five minutes straight, and my day was made.
