Jeg vågnede lidt over 8.00 ved at Kristian var på vej ned af stigen. Det havde været en god nat og vi følte os begge to udsovet. Jeg tog min bog "Journal 64” skrevet af Jussi Adler-Olsen frem, som jeg tidligere havde fået hernede af Jacob Mikolajewitz. Jeg var startet på den i går og den var nervepirende spændende og svær at lægge fra mig igen. Kristian tog et spil på sin Nintendo imens vi ventede på at de andre syvsovere også skulle ...
En lang dag i bilen

Vækkeuret ringede klokken 6.00 efter en god og kold nat (13 grader). Vi var forberedte på at det kunne blive koldt, da aftenen også havde været kølig. Vi havde puttet børnene med gemasher og T-shirts og givet dem den ekstra dobbeltdyne på, som vi ikke vidste, hvad vi skulle bruge til, da vi fik autocamperen i Cairns i 35 graders varme.
