      We had a great time relaxing at Fort Pickens. Nita went for a nice long bicycle ride along the coast. She was flying - until it was time to turn around. Suddenly the truth dawned - she was flying because the wind was helping. The return trip was against the wind!

      ... It looks as though a roof reseal may have to be done.

      We have made arrangements for someone to have a look at it after the wedding.

      It is also Tornado Season, and our first night in Louisiana we stayed just east of Lafayette. Watching the news that night we were informed that there was a Tornado Watch for the area. Thankfully nothing eventuated.

      ... everything we saw - the white sandy beaches and the wooden clad bars. Each day was fun packed starting with a morning workout in their garage, courtesy of Heather who put us through our paces with exercises that we hadn't been accustomed to for a while. This routine was a good addition as we ate a lot of fried food and drank a lot of beer during our stay so it kept us alive!

      ... part of valor, and came back down. If I were a lighthouse keeper, the ships at sea would be in a world of hurt! Larry didn't come in, so here are pix of me with a boyfriend I found inside, and of Josh and me on those incredible stairs. Oh, and one of Josh with a pelican statue.       ... is the south, it just a shower. By the time we came out, it had stop raining. Humid as hell, but no rain. That I don't miss. The Gulf Coast towns was having a huge Classic Car Show & Auction. From Long Beach to Biloxi, the highway was lined with spectators and classic cars.
