OK so this is my first post on this site.
Here are our stats for today.
Left Oceanport at 8:45am and arrived in Sandusky, OH at 6:45pm.
We traveled 545 miles on I-80 and it was a long and hot ride.
Tomorrow is Chicago which is 250 miles, so an easy ride compared to today.

... way there, we had a little confrontation: as we were riding by a house, a couple dogs came running after us, and as we tried to outride them, I slipped on the gravel road... Just got a few scratches, nothing major.
The following morning, we left at 5:45 in the morning to catch the ferry in Leamington to Sandusky, Ohio. We rode 75km in 3.5 hours. We arrived in Leamington at 9:15, and had time to ...

We are now driving to Chicago, so a long day on the road with a stop at an Amish town for lunch. State count- 4: - New York - New Jersey - Pennsylvania - ...

... a sandwich at my beloved Earl of Sandwich. While not as good as it is at Disney since it doesn't also come with a sprinkling of pixie dust, we enjoyed our All-American with turkey and cranberries. Then it was on to our plane which took off on time. Picking up our car rental from Budget was great - we ended up with a Dodge Charger and I discovered what a pleasure driving can be. This baby was a sweet ride!! And for just $13.50 a day, it was a ...

... the Ric******* Building from 20 or 30 metres above.
Susan and the kids did that while I watched little Jayden. The Top Thrill Dragster looked like just a little too much fun for me.

We had a very full day at the park, arriving at the gates at 8:30 in the morning and leaving at 10:30 at night. Still, there were some roller coasters left un-ridden.
Tomorrow we set out for Washington DC.
