... t say there was anything unique about any of the bars but there were sure a lot of them. Partying starts around 10:30 pm when you predrink at the hostel...move to the city around 12:30 am. In fact, there were some bars that OPENED at 2:30 am. We went out both nights and made it to the bitter end on the second one (that would be 6 am!) when the bars finally closed. Drinks are super cheap and food was cheaper (2 euro gyros can't be beat).

... in the room this year - AC, mattress, TV, etc. and that I was the first guest of the season in that particular room. I had a nice balcony overlooking their olive and almond trees and a view of the Chora. At 25 euros a night the room was a steal! There's no way you'd find anything close in the US. The nice thing about most Greek hotels is they are family owned and operated so they take great pride in their businesses and pay careful attention to every detail.
