... few times :) I definitely felt in my element! No one else had ever driven one before. We drove to the Red Beach. (pictures below). The water was so clear you could see the fish swimming below you. The transport back to Athens was another long ferry ride followed by a sleepless night at airport and more flying! All good though.

... several interesting spots in Evia and get a rough idea of the beauty of the island!



What to have in mind: Wi Fi is available throughout the premises for free. Guests are mostly Europeans, the majority of them French and Greeks.

Avoid taking long walks during the night. I suggest call a taxi for this because the area around is not lighted well.

I don’t recommend the hotel to people who are mean ...

... We had planned to have a light snack since we are having seafood dinner much later this evening.

Having no intention at all for an afternoon nap I asked for an espresso and Yianni has a Greek coffee with some chocolate cake accompanied by some ice cream. How could we get a nap and ignore the beautiful view we have from our balcony of the waterfront on the left and the mountain range of Dirfy on the right with its peak covered in snow!!

... is surrounded by a big orchard. There are Apple and Almond trees, Pomegranate, Prune and Fig trees. I grab the opportunity to take plenty of photos of the orchard and then I have another surprise. I am told that at the back yard I can find Dry Figs……just what I was looking for. I have never seen the whole process of how figs are dried out in the sun and I was planning to ask somebody in Kymi to show me where to go. Indeed I am lucky today.
