We had a very pleasant trip up the waterway between Evia Island and the mainland dodging the odd ferry. As we approached Khalkis Vivienne commented that the landscape reminded her of Trollhatten in Sweden, low lying land, low rise buildings, trees , roads, motorbikes, light industrial activities. Personally, I cannot stand the smell and the worst it is the awful smell of smoke that remains on the clothes. There was hardly any smell in the room and I would not have noticed it if I hadn’t seen some people smoking.

... is watching me from a distance, ……and suddenly I hear him inviting us to his house. At first I thought he would be angry with me, and I move towards him telling him about the photo holding the apple in my hand.

He is so polite and insists that we park the car and have a cold drink with them.

I get to the house first and Yianni follows. I am amazed!

This is exactly the right place I am looking for! What a coincidence!!
