... s ABSOLUTE favorite- chocolate marshmallow ripple! We ate too much but not all of it, (really, not all of it). A quick trip into the visitor center and off we go! Well with a few more stops... a big sailboat marina, one of the Mississippi River locks, a fantastic Buena Vista photo opportunity, the Nelson Creamery where we bought some cheese curds, (they squeak on our teeth) and dinner in Trempealeau. ... in several places where I crossed the river to take R26 south to Sand Ridge State Forest a little south of Pekin. Surprised to find a pine forest and sand dunes in Illinois but this place has them both. The nicest primitive (no hookup) campsites that I have seen on the trip. Nice soft pine needle floor and well shaded sites.

Finding Neverland was a great movie! I loved Peter Pan when I was younger, so it was cool to see how it was made! :) The part of the movie that affected me the most was the way the creators used music and scenery to enhance and tell the story. The music was beautiful and seemed perfect for the movie. The scenes were gorgeous, everything down to the lighting! The characters were perfect for the parts.
