... breathe taking – sheer rock walls and sandy beaches dotted all the way. We checked into our 15th century converted Monestry, beautifully done, we are in the top loft. We had a scenic visit to out patients late yesterday afternoon for Gran and followed up with an ear, throat and nose specialist for Gran's ear infection this morning. This provided us with an up close ...

... often named as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. It was so beautiful, I could have stayed forever! The village is surrounded by the sea and the castle summit affords amazing views. Another amazing Sardinian dinner, and we were back in the car headed for home!

Home to pack, fix up the place as the wild ...

... a head shade at a cost of 5 euros. We settled in for an afternoon of people watching and knocking back the African sand to sand salespeople, do you know the blokes go around selling what they call bikinis (really just a tiny bit of material) and the girls try them on right there and then! The water is too cold for most people but not for the Don and M-L but they are not in ...

... There is a reasonable climb from picnic level to old town and castle level, our estimation is 250 - 300 metres so we tried to imagine the enemies attempting to penetrate this fortress - almost impossible. There is an entire small village that still lives within the castle walls, they drive to parking areas and then walk the narrow lane ways, another world really. The art of basket weaving is still carried out, lots of old italian women plying their trade and selling. The streets ...
