... the border into Turkey - the connections were to random, so my best option was to travel 10hrs east to Istantbul and then return 6hrs west to get to Gallipoli. The night train departs Thessonaliki at 7:40pm and should arrive at The 'Bul at 8am - we arrived just after 11am!! No such buses were to be found. So I headed back into the terminal to find a company. But I was intercepted (the obvious foreigner) by a ticket tout, who happened to name a city beyond my desired getting off point. So I went with him.
