    On the road soon after 8.15 after another hot breakfast at the motel. It was biscuits and gravy, and sausage day. Biscuits are shaped like scones and about the same size but have a crust and texture like damper. They are eaten with a gravy which was a very pale gray (creme of mushroom soup colour) which had some lumpy bits in it. I tried the biscuit with a little jam.

    Back on the road today! We were set to do 60 miles which is now starting to feel like a normal day. My legs aren't half a sore as I thought and my bum has definitely broken into the saddle some more! The road was generally flat as it snaked beside Lake Erie, with some really nice views along the way.
