... quite tasteless and looks a little bit like mashed potato. With the Nsima we had Therere, this is made from okra but is cooked with soda and was basically green slime and Nkwani. The Nkwani was very nice it is made from pumpkin leaves mixed with ground nut (Peanuts) flour. The highlight of Derek Dilla’s cuisine was Ngumbi, a kind of large flying ant that you take the wings off and fry in oil. Interesting to say the least! ... I saw lots of different areas. The chiefs are interesting people and have a highly regarded role in the community. If there are any problems or fall outs then the chief is involved, they also have a say in who buys land in the village.
