We had a lovely 5 course lunch, including pre-dinner drinks on the terrace, free endless wine on the table and coffee and liqueurs on the terrace afterwards. Superb value for money.

Well what a night that was, The Rally Christmas Party, with the theme of red and white, everyone was in the Christmas spirit helped along with vast quantities of free wine with the meal.

The Rally has officially started now and the Welcome Party was great fun Jenny and Paul took us under their wing being great seasoned 'ralliers'. Although not everyone has arrived yet because of Ferry cancellations due to bad weather at sea, there must be around 80 people here and we’re getting to know nearly everyone as they are all so friendly. We have the rally get together tonight and so are looking forward to meeting everyone about a 100 people but the word is that the ferries have been cancelled to Santander and Bilbao because of rough seas so there may be a few late arrivals. There's quite a few ex-pats living on the campsite in mobile homes and we've met others who are staying here but not on the rally it's quite a jolly atmosphere.
