Drie stukjes film: weer dolfijnen, de eerste die we in de Algarve tegen kwamen, blijft voor ons erg leuk, ik hoop voor jullie ook. Dit keer een wat grotere varieteit. Het tweede stukje film is uit de zoutwinning bij het plaatsje Tavira waar kluten, reigers en lepelaars fourageren. Het derde stukje film zijn wat beelden in en rond de Guadiana, de grensrivier.

... I talk briefly with a receptionist in a Best Western hotel. She's actually quite interested to hear my story, and takes my email in case she knows anyone that needs a bit of work done in exchange for room and board. This is the only beacon of hope, in an otherwise very bleak situation.

... from staying here, was lovely and quiet in the day time and very busy in the evenings, when lobster-red foreigners wandered the streets looking for dinner in one of the many characterful restaurants. ... We went out to the river where all the local hangouts are for a little while but that wasn't a lot of fun. Met a bunch of American students that were all really young. So we came home and here I am writing on the computer. So overall it was a pretty eventful day. Church, castle, more language barriers, lost in a town that's impossible to get around in, tiny house, and tired. So Austa Lugegos. And I'm going to have to learn how to spell that too I guess.
