It was Kasmanda Palace. To everyone's delight, it was located at significant height and was as serene and tranquil as Kanatal. The palace was impressive and we could choose good rooms for ourselves.

... and pretend that nothing had happened – to act like he had never quit. So I went back into the tandoori place and pretended that I hadn’t been there before. They served me my chicken – albeit without a smile – and everybody was satisfied in the end. I am quite willing to swallow my pride – if I can swallow a bit of tandoori chicken with it.
