The group remained small till 1986, when Beverly DuBose donated a collection of Civil War artifacts and the current museum was built. Since then, a $15 million museum opened (1993); an expansion was completed (1996); a fourth permanent exhibit ...

At this point, I will now transition the blog as a method of keeping family and friends updated with our progress in Malawi.
