Quiet even though it is near the runway of Atlanta Airport

The hotel was very quiet and you could barely here the planes due to soundproof glass. The planes fly right over the hotel and it is neat to watch them at night.

Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. Can't believe how much we've seen and all the places that we've been in the last 26 days. I will certainly view so many of the places we've visited with a different set of eyes and opinions ...

All of the boats depart from the same marina around the same time. I arrived to my boats meeting spot and quickly realized the difference between demographics on each boat. I looked around the faces of the New Horizon's (my home for the next few days) passengers and counted about 6 males (not including crew). Not that I cared, but I could see ...

This is going to be an incredibly unpredictable, exciting and creative endeavour. I can’t even express how excited I am!! I’ll check back in with you all tomorrow.

... frog exhibit including poison dart frogs. The only part of the experience I didn't really enjoy was the dolphin show. They have 11 dolphins but you can only see them at the show. There's no photos allowed, only as you first walk past the tanks as you enter which seems a bit mean. I'm always a bit conflicted about these shows anyway with the dolphins being made to do tricks to earn their food. The aquarium has a great sense of humour with ...
