Day 1 of fight school was great, albeit tiring, but come day 2 I realised I was just a total keener on the first day, because day 2 and day 3 were far from enjoyable! The website advised having certain equipment before starting and there's me like, oh they are just trying to get me to spend money in the shop, nope, and I have the cuts a bruises to show it! Anyone who wants to try this, hand wraps are essential to stop you from getting bare knuckles.

After cooking, we could enjoy our prepared dishes in the beautiful dining area where they were set up at a nicely decorated table.

At the end, we received a cooking certificate, yellow and massaman curry paste, as well as a cook book. The special apron was not available but will be send later.

We are now in Phuket, which again is by the coast as we continue our 'holiday'. We traveled on Christmas Day as they don't celebrate it here, so it's just another day. The flight was only an hour, and again, we got a meal included in the flight, Nath got a little confused when he was selecting the many meal choices and ended up ordering a Hindu veggie meal for himself. We didn't really recognise any of the food when it came, it wasn't very appetising and the only thing that ...

... crook in the gut was the prospect of missing out on dinner at Mom Kri's restaurant. With a great reputation for both Thai & Western cuisine we made a booking for our final night; the drugs prevailed so we made the journey up the hill to one of the island's culinary treasures. Accompanied by Jo & Adrian we were seated at our table with a magnificent view across the restaurant rockpool and the Andaman Sea (picture attached). The sound of waves crashing over the rocks below ...
