What to think of Hungary?
... are used to bikers, we ourselves see others regularly. Further, the villages are sometimes far apart and farming here is machine intensive; as such we don't meet that many people as we were used to. And if you add the language barrier here, perhaps we are just not able to get a clear idea of Hungary.
That makes couchsurfing all the more important though!

Bata Bella Pension - Our Home for 10 Days
... Bella is indeed a blessing. We are settled into her daughter's room, upstairs in their home. It is perfect. We have our own private bath and balcony/terrace, and they have set up a small kitchen (hot plates/stove combo and refrigerator) for us in the foyer. So, we have everything we need, including the loveliest hosts one could ever wish for - all for about $26/day.
