... the Mycenaean fortified palace. Homer celebrates Mycenae "as the seat of King Agamemnon, who led the Greeks in the Trojan War. . . . [E]xcavations brought to light objects whose opulence and antiquity seemed to correspond to Homer's description of Agamemnon's palace. . . . Our first day at sea was...... A little boring. We spent the day exploring the ship and laying in the sun by the pool. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Italian restaurant where the waiter brought us a cake to celebrate 25 years of marriage!

I stayed outside during embarkation, but retreated in once it got too cold (I didn't pack any long pants). Went to the dining area and ordered two portions of salmon and a ham+egg salad. Decent but nothing to write in a journal about. My ticket is for "deck space" which means you find whatever space you can in a public area and camp there. I found an open ...

Today I woke up very excited because we where meeting up with my friend from school and his family Levent Oxha so we could go to the islands together. This was so exciting. We caught a ferry to Corfu. We had so much fun on the boat. We got to Corfu and went to have lunch in the city. The city is very nice and had lots of people. We drove around a little then went to book our hotel. It was very hot so we went for a swim in the pool and the beach. We then had dinner and went to ...
