... with the beach in the distance below. It was all closed up, but the door was unlocked, so we peered in to find the most amazing Byzantine frescoes on the walls. The drive got crazier and scarier, but the scenery more and more spectacular as we made our way through the white mountains to laid back Sougia, where we had a late lunch looking out to the pebble beach and the sea.
