Dimitsana - Olympia - Patras
Gece otelin kaloriferini sondurmusler. Sabah buz gibi uyandik. Tam kalktigimiz sirada tekrar yaktilar. Otelde 2-3 oda dolu.Otel kis oteli oldugu icin klima yok ama manzara muhtesem. Herneyse, kahvalti yapip 9 gibi yola koyulduk.

We got up eventually. Alarms went off at 7:30 and we got up 2 hours later... not too bad.
Breakfast was good. We headed straight for the coffee. Broke the machine... coffee everywhere!! The lady behind went to tell on us! Oops!! Filled our boots with free breakfast then packed up and went to the beach woooo bring on the sun!
We had to leave the beautiful Kokkoni beach at 14:30 to get a taxi back to the station. I bet Kokkoni was glad to ...
Olympia to Patra & goodbye Greece

Road trip in the Peloponnese
... smoked for weeks and never opened a door or window. Barb and I could barely stand it while the guy gave us a quote, we took his card and ran for the exit. The second office, Kosmo's, had a really nice older Greek gentleman, Demetrios. Demetrios took the time to show us a map of the Peloponnese peninsula, mark all of the sites to see and gave us a proposed route. The price for the car was right, he was a great help and we were on our way.

Day 17: Patra - Olympia - Patra
I had planned a truly Olympic day. After my initial Olympic mini fiasco on Wednesday (where I had thought Olympia was at about the same distance from Athens as Marathon), I planned my trip to ancient Olympia thoroughly. Left Patra around 11 in the morning and it was clouded and cool. Once I had left the coast it even started to rain a little but not very much.
