Paris
... got off at the Musee d'Orsay....Alex had recommended this art museum and she was right...it was amazing...I especially loved the sculptures...my favourite has to be Rodin...but the collection of impressionists is extensive....OK the National Gallery in London had far more of the " big name" famous pieces....and I will always love seeing Turner's work....but the d'Orsay has a more extensive collection of individual artists on display....you could see a vast ...
Paris (Oh La La)
... it for me because it's my favorite and it would make me happy. They also demand that I kiss them goodnight now, and get upset if I don't.
Yesterday marked 1 month since my arrival here. Wow. That went by fast. Only 11 more to go. Not that I'm counting down though. I most certainly am not. :)
I'm just going to leave you with amazing pictures of Paris. Sorry if they're a bit blurry. I pretty much flailed the whole time.

Into the City
... Nord, making the $30+ we spent on a taxi seem more painful than it needs to be. But c'est la vie. We talk about our plans: we want to go straight to the downtown core and take our own private walking tour through some of the main, iconic sights. First stop: Notre Dame Cathedral.
We get off the train right in front of the church (did I say church? I meant CHURCH). The lineup to get inside extends all the way ...
Last day in Paris
... Paris again one day, to see more of what this city has to show us.
Our walk home was just lovely, the streets were quiet and nearly empty, the lights of the cafes were still on, and we captured this one to remember our stroll home.
So it's goodbye for now to magical Paris, but we will see more of you ... one day ...
