... filled my tummy up before walking around the cute shops on top of the hill and looking at the artists displays. It started to get pretty chilly and we started or descent down the hill. It was such a relaxing day and fairly cheap but we had so much fun just hanging out and enjoying the weather before it gets to chilly to enjoy the outdoors.
Sunday morning we ventured out to get an American breakfast! There is a cafe only one block from our place that ...

Tip, do your shopping in a supermarket, take tea bags and buy milk. You will need a cup heater (from a travel shop) as no hotels have tea/coffee making facilities. Few have fridges; those that do are locked, you pay a deposit at reception for the key.
Toilets are between 20 cents and 50 cents ....... 50p for a pee, ridiculous but it’s the same in England... when you gotta go???
... crowed Metro was a challenge. Our apartment in 22 Rue Rambuteau has a wonderful location, it is really quiet at night and the shopping street has everything. After eating a substantial lunch and sitting for so long on the plane we just bought some terrine, ryebread and strawberries for tea, along with a bottle of cheap (2,5E ...
paris, France gandablogHahaa! Joko luulitte nettiyhteyksien kaatuneen?
Paris, Île-de-France, France sannakoo... Tower. It was amazing! It was all very surreal. Instead of the funicular we decided to take the stairs. Ooof. First flight was 300 steps. By the second level we were at over 600 stairs. But the view was beautiful and the breeze was nice. We were overlooking Paris and the Seine river :) We then went to this one park. It was so peaceful and beautiful. But we got lost. It started to rain but it soon passed. But somehow we found ...
Paris, Île-de-France, France dancera... isnt really frowned too much upon in all of Europe, so this wasnt something that people dont see on a daily basis. After our picnic, we took the metro to find the artist square near Sacre Coeur. To get to the artist square we had to climb a million stairs up this hill; it was a hike, but worth it once we found the square. It was outlined with tons of artsy shops and cafes looking in towards the middle of the square, where artists lined the outline of the middle of the ...

We also eventually made it to the Eiffel Tower-I'm including photos and then just walked miles discovering new areas of town. Paris, France erinbobarin... an incredible flamenco dancer, and more Sangria of course. After Barcelona we took a train to Lyon where we stayed with friends of a family friend which went really well. Nadia, Herve and Cyril were so kind to us and showed us authentic food and cheese (they eat cheese with mold on it by the way), and also directed us to all the best sights. We saw Roman ruins which are supposedly the oldest Roman ruins in France ...
Paris, France saspiegel... alcohol. However, the drink did not matter as we were still able to be "entertained by the dancers." For my first visit to a venue of the sort, I was glad to have selected Paris as the place for it...I consider it to be the genuine capital of the non-prostitution sex profession. We were entertained for about 40 minutes after which we were told to either order drinks or leave...so we left. On our way back to the metro, one of the girls got a hilarious ...
