Tuesday 19th: flight from Warsaw to Vilnius was delayed 3 hours but we still made it well ahead of the bus option! Found hostel easily and checked in. The TripAdvisor review had warned that the neighbourhood looked a bit dodgy and it certainly does but it is not really a problem with good rooms and easy walking access to the old city area.

... we went off into the park to the old soviet military compound where we met someone who didn't use a name, in fatigues, and many cases of fun. The pictures tell a pretty good story, and the wide angle lenses weren't enough to the capture the smile of firing an Uzi on full automatic, or burst firing an MP5 into my super dead target on the range.
