    ... we were there. It was lovely to walk and just take in the houses in the area. The were many walls and buildings painted with quirky, arty ***** designs, and usually the local artisans open the front of their houses to set up stalls and sell their peices, however unfortuately due to the bank holiday these were closed. It was somewhere a little different ...

    And the million dollar question is what should I pack. I guess the answer is quite simple. Keep weight to a minimum as it is not fun to carry heavy loads while running to get a train or searching for hostels under the hot sun. I guess that is the reason why "hardcore" backpackers usually don't carry backpacks any larger than 45-50L, not to mention they follow the rule ...
