    ... navigation skills. We spent a lot of time speaking broken Portugeuse to the men working in various different gas stations. There was also a lovely guy on a motorbike who leaned through the window trying to help us when he saw we had a map on our lap. Didnīt understand a word he said but I appreciate the effort.

    The hostel we were staying at was really good, it had lovely people staying/working there. IT was only 6 months old so everything was new. ...
