I went for a run towards Maksimir Park today as I read it is the best place to run in the city. Running around really helps one get acquainted to a new city. The park had huge trees along with many lakes and it was quite calming to be there. We explored the main square later in the day and discovered the cathedral which is quite striking in the middle of the lower town. Caleb asked where Jesus was now and Christine said ...

Needless to say it was hard to move him on from that waterfall and he seemed to suddenly feel the need to walk backwards until she was outta sight! (ed note. Cold shovel required). There was a lot of people walking their dogs through the area too, the puppies came for a ride on the boat as well! We had an amazing dinner at the local that night followed by the best home ...

We visited with the Elders and met several couple missionaries as well as some sisters. We also visited with Kristiyan and the Bzik family. We walked back to our hotel, then visited a little super market where ...

... NOT TO MISS. Well I surely missed it...

Took the tram - now I had to buy a ticket that I had to use up within 90 minutes. Stopped off at Jelačić Square to get a slice of the yummy pizza I had enjoyed before...then back on the tram to get back to the hotel for a rest before we went to A and V's home for another INCREDIBLE DINNER - unbelievably good rellenos, OUTSTANDING MUSSELS, and an EXCELLENT cake (photos below...). Aleksandra's food is JUST OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!
