I went for a run towards Maksimir Park today as I read it is the best place to run in the city. Running around really helps one get acquainted to a new city. The park had huge trees along with many lakes and it was quite calming to be there. We explored the main square later in the day and discovered the cathedral which is quite striking in the middle of the lower town. Caleb asked where Jesus was now and Christine said ...

Saturday afternoon I had an uneventful trip to Zagreb after the bus finally showed up 30 minutes late! My new friends and I had a good chat, a good beer, and ...

Hopped on the tram this morning but hopped off at the Opera House (actually called the Croatian National Theater - - because it also does drama and ballet and concerts. But it is the Opera House for ME) to get tickets for Bellini's Norma on the 18th. Unfortunately it is in some weird modern dress but I will get over it - especially as I managed to get the best seats (the 18th is Good Friday...) for the incredible price of $28 each!!! But click on Opera in ...
