... what Zagreb had to offer. The city that is such an unknown entity to me. So far it looks good and I guess first impressions count, right?! Bike tour tomorrow. Nothing culinary but I am sure I won't starve or have to resort to horrible fast food. It says it is a combo tour so have to remind myself what I am letting myself into. Oops. ... than 90 days. No issue after this encounter, arrived at Zagreb. Went to the hostel - I was on the basement level and it is so humid here. Also, my luck ran out and I have a top bunk. Although the storage was big enough for my bag, so that was good. I walked to the Main square and took in some sites - then had dinner recommended by the waiter. It was chicken with ham/cheese in the center and cream sauce; oh and a side of gnocchi. Ate way too much, but it was good. ...

Zagreb was a very lovely discovery! A bigger town than Ljubljana, and I do not know why, I preferred it to Ljubljana.

I had this wonderful hostel in an old 150 square meter apartment, high ceilings, large rooms, two were transformed in dormitories, the middle one was a sitting room with television and cosy seats. Two bath rooms, a kitchen... all the comfort as if one was at home! I loved that place.
