We had so much fun in Nottingham while staying in the best hotel of the trip with 4 rooms. Day 1 we didn't do anything but go to dinner. The second day we were at Alton towers. It is a theme park with great rides and has the 8th most scariest rollercoaster. The bad thing was ...

It`s the day before the long awaited trip to the USA. The packing is complete. Martin and Sheila are starting the holiday early as they have tickets for Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons at the NEC so Chris and Gill will meet them at the airport tomorrow to check in at 6.30am. Our flight departs at 9.00am for Newark where we have about 4 hours to kill before flying onto Las Vegas.

I stopped at a hotel close to the airport, as there are no flights out of Johannesburg at this time of night. My journey will continue tomorrow. ...

We went for an evening stroll along the street for about half an hour and then to our room! Early start tomorrow! May come back this way in a few weeks on our own. Lots to ...

... We saw two foxes at different times. There were visitor moorings at bridge 5, but very close to a road, so we carried on through Brandwood Tunnel, where we saw bats, to Kings Norton Junction.

There we looked for the elsan point marked in our Nicholson Guide, but we did not see it. Does anyone know exactly where it is?

We turned south on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal, and then through the Wast Hills Tunnel (1 miles), which was a bit wet. ...
