        ... follow us around during our visit. Tom and Pop gave them piggybacks, much to the girls delight. Because they were only about four they got a big overexcited and were clinging onto Pop- we decided to say our goodbyes and headed to our next stop.

        ... so yeah... It's pretty massive. We successfully found a hotel for our stay in Tuk Tuk and arrived in style at their own ferry pier. By the way, this was the first time we didn't plan ahead and book something prior to arriving! YOLO. I am slightly ashamed / not ashamed at all to say that we spent the entire duration of our stay in Tuk Tuk, and actually only ventured away from the hotel grounds itself on one occasion.         ... and had to walk 15minutes in the dark through the town to reach the road where our drivers would be meeting us. Although Bukit Lawang was fast asleep the river continued to gush below us and glistened as the sun started to rise.

        Our drivers Colil and Cling were waiting as planned so we loaded up and set off for the start of our bumpy ride ahead.

        ... want to do but the view of both the waterfall and over the island to the lake was worth it - a guy decided to charge us to park which we knew was a con but pennies and his really odd face made me pay it without argument and just leave. We decided to take the back roads back to the main road, a bumpy dirt path which was an excellent good idea for both bike control lessons and to see the real local houses.
