... at you, you need to remember to do the duck part! I did warn my partner I was feeling a bit slower, thank god that she was not! She caught herself several times when I simply forgot to duck. The Thai trainers were less kind and I got hit with a couple good body shots that came in too quickly for my slow motion reflexes! It did make for some good stories as my partner retold it at dinner. Good lesson learned tonight about not mixing muscle relaxants and ...

... for lunch in Phuket Town - but didn't realise the Chinese Vegetable Festival would block off roads - so took us a while to get there - to find it was closed. We then agreed we would walk through the Festival market and pick up some food there. Found some tasty bits and pieces - was 3.45 by this time - so we headed back to Merlin. Pool bar drinks for a couple of hours - then dinner at the resort. The rest of the crew headed for Patong to eat.

... and the boys schnitzel-ing each other in the sand. I woke up with practically a cans worth of silly string in my hair and a bed full of sand. I had such an awesome night and was lucky to meet some awesome people to celebrate with. After our long wait in Khao Lak for the bus, we found ourselves crammed into a packed bus. I was offered a few inches of another passenger’s seat and Norma found herself squatting at the front behind the driver. Oddly we were still relieved. The journey was broken by a brief stop to re-inflate a flat tyre and then arriving at the bus terminal a few km’s out of Phuket town (where the flat tyre was now completely flat), we transferred to a large pickup truck. ...
