    ... tell us the closest station and we buy the ticket and go to wait for the train. It feels like the longest journey ever with the train stopping at each station for several minutes at a time.     ... 8217;ve made it across so the Charlotte decided she wanted a photo to document my discomfort and the nice scenery but as you guessed it she forgot to take her phone out of her pocket so we raced back to the hotel and destroyed a key chain in order to get the sim card out the phone and begged some uncooked rice from the cooks and left it there for three days.     ... nice! The hotel is called the Thara Patong Beach Resort and has everything including a minutes walk to the beach. We have read its difficult getting out of Patong anywhere on the cheap as the taxis/tuk tuks all want 1000 thai baht for a round trip and they try to encourage you to stay in the resort. However we managed to figure out the local bus that leaves every hour and did a day trip to Phuket City for 60 baht each! Was an interesting ...
