... with masseur to be gentle. Have to report only a few bones broken and body twisted in to contortions on quite a few occasions - Vicki was having a massage beside me saying - dont do that, or that to me! Coward! We hobbled from our "relaxing" massage in need of a drink. Changed and headed south - and found a great bar/restaurant right on the esplanade - so again we could watch the passing parade ...

Phuket again.

Our taxi that we arranged with Pat was waiting for us. It took us an hour to get to B&M's house. We got our luggage organized and relaxed for a bit, took a shower and than it was time for the apero where I tried some orange with Thai rum .... Pretty strong ! Around 8:30 we left for dinner at the Nurbus restaurant, a very fancy open restaurant like a big loft but in a neo-classical barok kind of style with lots of gold, red curtains and crystal lamps. ... airport- Singapore for a few hours we boarded for our last leg of the trip to Phuket! That was a empty flight so we all got to spread out and relax. We got there at about 9.30 - 1.30am Melbourne time. Out hotel is really good with 3 pools, right in the heart of things! We're all excited to go out and explore tomorrow- and the buffet ...

... Wat Chalong Chedi is built on three floors, which in this heat is hard to climb all the way to the top floor terrace, but you get a nice bird's eye view of the entire temple grounds. A few more steps leads you to a glass display where the fragment of bone can be contemplated. You can see the nearby Phuket Big Buddha from here, well, actually you can see it from almost anywhere in the southern part of Phuket island, haha!
