    We arrived in Phuket at the infamous Patong beach, and you could already tell from all the crazy looking bars that it was going to be an experience.     ... of laying by the pool, snacking, drinking and shopping. Today was 33 degrees but there was a strong wind which kept us cool. The pool is amazing by the way and so are the beef satay sticks!     ... and shopping malls turn into a traditional town, with old buildings, markets and it smells a bit. We wondered around went to a market that just seemed to chop up raw meat and fish which stunk and made Emma heave, went to a few huge shopping outlets including a huge Tesco Lotus and got some good bargains on essentials and also after finding a local music shop in the town made Emma's worst nightmare come true....
