We then agreed we would walk through the Festival market and pick up some food there. Found some tasty bits and pieces - was 3.45 by this time - so we headed back to Merlin. Pool bar drinks for a couple of hours - then dinner at the resort. The rest of the crew headed for Patong to eat.

All they seemed to be certain about was that they were told to meet a guy in an Irish bar called the Irish Times in "Patong Beach" and he would sort everything for them. Great, that sounded like a plan so we organised a mini bus to take the 10 of us down to Paying Beach for around 3 euro each for an hour long journey. Not bad.

... bus-boat but no so impressive that they robbed me of $100 out of my hidden shower kit bag. All our bags were routed through actually so someone must have been in the storage under the bus going through them. Lesson learned. The full moon party is held on the beach every month. It involves dressing in bright clothes , drinking liquor and red bull out of buckets and dancing on the beach all night until sunrise. Unfortunately I ...
