Had a wonderful afternoon exploring Castillo de Sant Barbara (hugecastle/fort at the top of hill in Alicante) and listening to some of the 3 Reyes (3 Kings/Wisemen) festivities from the top of the castle. Tonight the 3 Kings (Wisemen) arrive! There were huge celebrations here in Spain. We could hear a marching band and see signs of a parade and huge crowds from the top of the castle. Later we saw on TV lots of celebrations all over Spain with kings and beautifully dressed women ...

Our hiking group has also rewarded us with many wonderful walks and friendships as well as some much needed exercise.

Our trip to Paris was truly fantastic and deserves it's own entry so I will try to add that next.

Both of us in different semis in the shuffleboard but both lost. George was also a losing semi finalist in the afternoon quoits and in the afternoon shuffleboard. In between we had a ...

... painting class in about an hour. We had a wonderful lunch with friends from Sweden and Norway yesterday here at Casa Largo Vida and the day before we had a belated birthday celebration with another friend. We are playing tennis on Sunday with English friends and this evening we will meet with our Bilingual Friends in El Campello. As you can see the routine isn't too boring, lots of friends and fun.

Hope you are enjoying the same!
