The late night journey from the airport to the hotel was our first introduction into the wonders of India. Aptly described as 'London on acid', Mumbai's noise, colours, smells, heat and chaos create a hectic but brilliant vibe. there are 2 options in Guhagar, either strictly OK accommodation with an awesome beach view,or good accommodation with a compromised location away from the beach.
There are a couple of other hotels and a few Home stay options for accommodation, also "Shantai Resort" for a better stay experience (but no ocean view).
One can chose their stay on arrival unless its weekend.

Another attraction close by is a beautiful Ganesh temple. The view from up there is truly mesmerizing.

Great place to go to unwind for a couple of days.
