... way home. We had a steep climb up to Alto de Perdo (790M) walking past vast fields of wheat. The views were great but dominated by rows of wind turbines. We were greeted by an orange juice van and a bus load of tourists getting their photos taken in front of the metal statues depicting a band of medieval pilgrims walking. The inscription reads "Where the way of the wind meets the way of the stars" Day 5 - Puenta La Reina to the 11tC town ...

It's tradition to drink from your scallop shell which hangs from your backpack, identifying you as a Peregrino, however I had smashed my shell in half, at the end of the first day of my walk, when dropping my backpack down too ******* a tiled floor. ... he was like me we would starve and smell bad. I appreciate him so much from this. Never once has he chastised me for complaining or not being able to move. He gets me up in the morning when I have no motivation to move and he keeps me going all day and is always so happy and is always trying to get me to smile.
