Today we crossed the boarder into Spain at 12.18pm heading towards Pamplona. What a delight. Mountains, rivers and tunnels and heat were my first impressions as we drove towards Pamplona. Its now 33 degrees and the air is hot and made even hotter by the motor underneath our feet. We drove through long tunnels always climbing, climbing. Kerry got two big blasts from truckies horns as he tried to look out the window and ...

This was also central to all drinking, socializing, and parade activities so the surprising addition of sound proof doors was most welcome since Matt and I shared a murphy bed that we pulled out from the kitchen wall (which is how 11 people fit into 1 apartment).

Hats off to the bull.

... We saw the runners get into their places about ten minutes before it hit 8 o clock, and the crowd started to quiet down. I kept looking down at my watch, nervous for the start of the run. Finally, we heard the first rocket, signifying the opening of the gate. Then, the second. The bulls were out.

About half the people immediately started to run, which I thought defeated the entire purpose of running with the bulls. There were two types of people ...
