... de montjardin (i think this translates to the village of the mountain garden). There is a castle right on the top of the hill dedicated to St Estaban (again stephen in spanish) so i will make sure i introduce myself in case more locals are keen to shout drinks. ... Out of sight out of mind? What I think, as I overheard another spectator say, is it isn't very sporting. It's six versus one, and they wound the animal strategically so that he can't put up any real fight. Six bulls and each fight was the same. Only the finale differed, and I'd like to think that was the one decision the bull was allowed to make, how to go. The guy that owns and runs this place, a young local Basque gentleman, has really put a lot of thought and effort into it.
