... now! This is what I have resorted to. Yes it's sad. But free tasted so good. Day 5: We somehow did the day's hike in no time at all and we both were sore as heck. Everything hurt on us both. Dan apparently is a five day sore ;) My legs hurt so bad by the time we get to the city I can't go out looking for food or admire the city at all. Luckily Dan is a tank and does it all. He does our laundry, finds food/cooks food, and doesn't ever complain. Thank god. If he was like ...

... a plain yellow arrow, that marks the Camino can be seen frequently along the way. We found a little bar in Obanos and at about 1:30 had lunch. ... doing research on the "edible Camino" (stupid coz there's a town every few k's. Day 6 Well, we managed to get ourselves out of bed and started our hike around 8am. Errin's knee and my Achilles were still playing up this morning so we walked to the next town and found a farmacia. Errin bought some ibuprofen which definitely helped my issue but only mildly helped Errin's knee. We'll see how she goes in the morning after more meds. We hiked about 15ks today which isn't a great ...

Arrived late afternoon and set out to find my accomodation for the night. Thankfully my ageing memory did not let me down. I managed to find it easily with only a brief stop along the way to sort out my Spanish sim card.

You just have to love Spanish cities with their wide pavements, numerous pedestrian precincts and wonderful plazas. They certainly got it right in the days when they built these old cities. Then you get into the really old parts ...
