    Resting in Sao Paulo; day trip; saying goodbye to Brazil.
    We arrived back in Sao Paulo after two months of travel and a final uncomfortable overnight bus journey, and we were exhausted. Thank goodness for loyalty schemes which allowed us to check into the Holiday Inn at 9.30 am and crash for the day, watching cable TV.

    ... We also had a lot of chopp (draft beer) again, which is about 5R here - so cheap! On all the tables there is just a scorecard, and if you finish your beer the waiters automatically replace it and mark it on the card - its so dangerous! The waiters also let us try jabuticaba, which is Brazilian black berry like fruit, kind of similar to grapes but you cant eat the skin.     Lunch today is at Tree Groument. I assume we keep eating at all u can eat buffets because it is quicker and allows the most choice for everyone to experience the local cuisine but I am able to eat less and less.
