    ... of bars and snackbars around. We tried some of the local snacks: pasties with meat, pasties with cheese, pasties with sausage, pasties with a combination of the above, all fried, all calorific, all delicious.

    We also spent some time poring over the takeaway menus in our room with a copy of Eat Smart Brazil to decipher the menus and see what was on offer. A few surprises (strawberry pizza anyone?) and lots of food for thought.

    ... have quite a few Caprihinas and some amazing food again. We danced until we were the last people there and overall had an amazing time! There's some a pretty amazing people in São Paulo for all of it's lacking of things to do :) Again I'm delirious with lack of sleep so time for a morning kip. Buenos Dias!! ...

    ... into their bedroom as you go past, but this is in the main tourist areas! If I wasn't concerned I would be throttled I would have taken photos of it all, but decided I would portray a nice clean and happy São Paulo in the pictures. This actually was quite hard to not have a 'walker' in a photo... The park pavilions were being used as a homeless dorm rooms, with mattresses all in the middle and blankets all around and the park ponds ...

    I have never felt so small before as when standing on Avenue Paulista with concrete masses towering over me for miles in every direction. This is the largest city in the Southern Hemisphere - a fact that does not surprise me whatsoever.
