    Hostel move day.

... good, especially for a hostel. each night provides two options and as me and Paul couldn't decide which to have, we ordered both and had half each. Jens had told us that tonight there was going to be a big party with Swedish music and plenty of Swedish people (much to the boys delight) so we all had pre drinks at the hostel and caught the bus to Lagoa which is where all of the bars were, but not before I managed to walk into the bus stop and then into a huge puddle ...

... book our flights from Recife to Rio for next week. We walked to the travel agent up near the supermarket around the corner and got flights for 158reais each. We enquired about bus tickets to Natal but they said they only do flights and to talk to the shopping centre and try there. I ended up having a couple more as we chatted away with Jam and Alex before using their computer to load some photos and run a back up. We went to a different supermarket closer ...

... out to the beach here. Wasn't a nice beach but the water was beautiful and the sun was hot. 2 hours went by quick before we realised it was in the peak burn hours so we decided to find a shopping centre to kill some time, soak some air con and avoid the sun. We found one a bit back from the beach and had a look around. Nothing there of interest except the supermarket, so we grabbed light lunch and ate it outside in the street. We made our way back to ...

... History through novels and childhood stories that there are five
statues of her in the city. This statue in the beach of Iracema is known as Iracema,
the Guardian placed in 1996 shows the Iracema holding a large bow, as if ready
for a battle. That’s your cultural fix of the day. As the world watches the drama unfold none could be
unimpressed by the beauty, excitement and athleticism of what is unfolding in ...
